Cooking Classes

My goal through virtual cooking classes is to have some fun, interactive time spent around food. We will learn to cook some of my recipes via live Zoom group calls in which you can cook along, or simply just watch and learn. This will allow us to get to know each other a little better and have some fun, social interactions with food! I offer classes are available to anyone and everyone regardless of cooking level. Nutrition Classes

Nutrition Basics.

Ever feel as though there is so much nutrition information out there, but you are still confused by the basics? Have you ever found some nutrition information contradictory? Unsure how to make food decisions for yourself using nutrition information? In this class we are diving into nutrition basics discussing carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. You will learn how to build a balanced plate and I’ll be answering your questions to help clear some of the confusion.


Meal Planning.

In this class you will learn my tips and tricks to help save time, stick to your budget, reduce food waste, lower stress around cooking/eating, and increase the nutritional quality of meals. You will be a meal planning pro once you implement my 5 steps to meal planning success. As a part of this class, you will also get to take home my pantry stocking guide.


Reading Food Labels.

Do you lack confidence when making food decisions at the grocery store? This class will provide you with the tools you need to be a conscious consumer. We will dive into reading nutrition fact labels so you can make grocery runs with ease. We will also discuss other terms you may see on food labels and what they do or not not tell us about the nutritional value of the food.


Diabetes Prevention & Managent.

Learn about nutrition basics with a focus on diabetes. We will discuss nutrition interventions to help manage blood sugars such as building a balanced plate and meal/snack frequency. We will also dive into other diet and lifestyle factors that can help manage diabetes or pre diabetes diagnosis.


Vegan, Vegetarian, or Mostly Plant Based Diets.

We will explore how to build a nutritionally balanced plate when following an exclusively plant based diet. We will also discuss which nutrients are especially important to pay attention to, and how to ensure you are getting adequate amounts of these higher risk nutrients.


Feeding Your Littles; Raising Intuitive Eaters.

In this class, we will dive into the division of responsibility of feeding to help support your little ones to grow with a positive food relationship. We will also learn techniques for picky eating, low stress meals, and how to provide healthy snacks your kids will actually eat.
